Within the Des Moines Wells Fargo Museum, there are multiple exhibitions that required new and updated graphics. The client wanted to bring a modern and clean aesthetic to the previously outdated museum.
Alongside the Art Director, I updated and re-formatted historical images for large format printing. Using Photoshop I edited and cleaned up the heads-hots for the grid of panels. The yellow in the Wells Fargo brand was used to brighten this section of the room. This was such a powerful color for this space but in other locations, this same color was used so it helped balance out the atmosphere and uplift the viewing experience. The words “hello” and “hola” were spelled out in Morse code and then streamed across the glass onto the blown-up image of the person using a telegraph.
